History:

1988 Established as a boutique commercial legal practice by Simon Salter and Clare Power trading as Salter Power from offices at 1311 Hay Street, West Perth.

1994 Stephen Power and Jeremy Shervington admitted as partners and the firm became known as Salter Power Shervington. In 1996 the firm purchased its own premises at 52 Ord Street, West Perth.

1999 Neil Fearis invited to join the firm as a partner and the firm name became Fearis Salter Power Shervington

2004 Salter Power Pty Ltd established as an incorporated legal practice with the professional staff from the previous firm joining the 5 directors, Simon Salter, Stephen Power, Clare Power, Eric Fethers and Nicholas Brown in the expanded practice. Salter Power Pty Ltd moved into larger specially designed premises at 6 Kings Park Road, West Perth incorporating contemporary design features to enable client, staff and technology requirements to be equally addressed.

Salter Power retains its focus as a specialised commercial practice committed to assisting our clients to achieve their strategic goals by understanding the business and industry environments in which they operate. Our emphasis is on developing responsive and stable relationships with our clients and employing state of the art technology and research tools to ensure that the firm is adequately resourced to provide on demand advice and assistance.

A full range of legal services is provided including capital raisings, share and asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructurings, project development activities, debt funding, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Our clients are diverse and include major corporate organisations and financial institutions through to public sector bodies and individuals.
